The Voice Within Speech Pathology has been in international collaboration with the Yael Centre, Israel, since 2010. Dr Elad Vashdi, Director of the Yael Centre, has developed the Verbal Motor Learning and Multi-Dimensional Therapy (MDT) approaches and trained speech pathologists at The Voice Within Speech Pathology to assess and provide therapy for children. The Verbal Motor Learning approach was specifically designed for children with apraxia of speech. The MDT provides holistic assessment and multifaceted therapy for children with general developmental and learning disorders in all developmental domains including speech, language, fine and gross motor, cognition, social skills, attention and activities of daily living.
SKITTLES is a fun and motivating weekly homework club that caters to children who have speech and language difficulties. Allied health students studying both Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology will be paired with your children to complete the homework tasks specified by the childrens’ own Speech Pathologists.
