Developmental Language Disorder

Developmental language disorder (DLD) is a hidden but very common condition that means a child has difficulty using and/or understanding language. Children with DLD have difficulties expressing their feelings, connecting verbally with kids their age and can fall behind academically although they are just as smart as their peers.
